We do know that the iPad Pro will go for about 10 to 12 hours under heavy use, and it will be interesting to see how the Tab S9+ compares. We do know that the Tab S9+ has a 10,090 mAh battery, while the iPad Pro sits at a larger 10,758mAh battery. There are many factors at play, and we haven't yet had a chance to run the proper tests. The Galaxy Tab S9+ comes with 12GB of RAM, as well as your choice of 256GB of 512GB of onboard storage space. You can get the iPad Pro with 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, 1TB, and 2TB of storage, and either 8GB or 16GB of RAM depending on the storage size (1TB and 2TB models come with the extra memory). It's the same chip as found in the new MacBook Pro, Air, and Mac Mini, giving you a ton of power for all tasks. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 is a great little chip, but it can't touch the Apple M2. The other reason why I'd recommend the 2018 iPad Pro is that I've never found it to be "too slow" or needing any extra performance muscle.
